The Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) received a further financial boost yesterday after private companies and organisations stepped forward with a $8,418.39 donation.
Accepting the donation on behalf of Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) was its chief executive officer, Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim bin Haji Daud.
Held at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Headquarters in Jalan Kumbang Pasang, the ceremony saw the first presentation of a $5,000 donation by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Brunei Section, which was raised during a fund-raising activity recently. The SPE Brunei Section was represented by its vice chairman, Shamir Salahudin.
